there is à rope running from the top of a flagpole to a hook in the ground. the flagpole is 16 meters high, and the hook is 12 meters from its base. how long is the rope?

    you would use pythagorean's theorem which is A^2+B^2=C^2

    c is the hypotenuse which would be the length of the rope
