    Replace x with i

    f (i) = 1-i

Because i is in the formula, it is a complex number with a real number = 1 and an imaginary number = - 1

    The modulus of f (i) = |1-i| =

    sqrt[1^2 + (-1) ^2] = sqrt (2)

The answer would be: StartRoot 2 EndRoot
