Which number can be removed from the following list of data so that the median will remain the same?

70, 15, 28, 65, 45, 50, 40

    Answer: 45 because the middle number is 45 and if you take it away it makes you have to split the 40 and 50 down the middle which makes it 45

    Step-by-step explanation: You should take out 45. Then cross out your numbers from greatest to least and you get 50 and 40 left. Lastly, you find what number is in the middle of those numbers and you get 45. When you solved the problem originally you got 45 and taking out the 45 you still get 45.
