Tara ran 3 laps Around her neighborhood for a total of 1 mile yesterday. Today she wants to run 2/3 of a mile. How many laps will she need to run around her neighborhood?

    She ran 2 miles because you have to multiply 3 laps by 2/3. It already gives you the total for 1 mile so you don't need to do any division all you have to do is multiply and you get 2 miles.
