A bag contains 5 chocolate, 3 peanut butter, 4 oatmeal, and 4 sugar cookies. If 2 cookies are selected randomly, what is the probablity they will be the same kind?

    The probability that the two cookies will be of the same kind is 5/16 for chocolate, 3/16 for peanut butter, 4/16 (1/4) for oatmeal, and 4/16 (1/4) for sugar. That's all I can say.
