A cylindrical hot tub, with a diameter of 12 ft and height of 6 ft, is partially filled with 500 ft3 of water.

(a) What is the volume of the hot tub? Round your answer to the nearest tenth. Use π = 3.14

(b) How many more cubic feet of water can the hot tub hold? Round your answer to the nearest tenth. Use π = 3.14

    the volumen of the hot tub is given for the equation V = pi*r^2*h, where r = d/2

    a) then V = 3,14 * (6) 2*6=678,24ft 3

    B) The hot tub can contain (678,24-500) ft 3 = 178,24 ft 3
