On a math test it tooks Kiera 30 minutes to do 6 problems. Heath finished 18 problems in 40 minutes did the students work at the same rate

    To find the rate divide the amount of time by the number of questions to get the amount of time each question took:

    Kiera: 30 minutes / 6 problems = 5 minutes per problem.

    Heath: 40 minutes / 18 problems = 2.22 minutes per problem.

    The times per problem are different so they did not work at the same rate.
