    4 5/8 lbs or 37/8 lbs

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Peaches: 2 1/2 pounds

    Raspberries: 7/8 pound

    Apricots: 1 1/4 pounds

    Since mixed fractions are used, first convert them to improper fractions.

    P = 5/2

    R = 7/8

    A = 5/4

    Now, find the least common denominator.

    LCD = 16

    P = 8 (5/2) = 40/16

    R = 2 (7/8) = 14/16

    A = 4 (5/4) = 20/16

    Add all the new fractions together.

    (40/16) + (14/16) + (20/16) = 74/16

    Simplify by factoring 2.

    (74/16) / 2 = 37/8

    Either keep as improper or change to mixed number.

    4 5/8 lbs
