    Y=a (x-h) ^ + k

    so your parabola has an equation of:

    y=a (x+2) ^ - 3

    -2=a (5+2) ^ - 3

    -2=a (-3) ^-3

    -2=9a-3

    adding them to both sides

    1=9a

    divide both sides:

    1=9a

    Divide both sides by 9:

    a=1/9

    the vertex form is:

    y = (1/9) (x+2) ^-3

    The expanded form is:

    y = (1/9) x^ + (4/9) x - (23/9)

    Anw: E. (1/9)
