A soccer ball is kicked with a speed of 8.50 m/s at an angle of 28.0° above the horizontal. if the ball lands at the same level from which it was kicked, how long was it in the air? (neglect air resistance.)

    Upward velocity at launch = 8.50*sin280

    8.50*0.4694

    =3.989

    Time taken to reach maximum height=v/g

    =3.9899/9.8

    Same speed to needed to come down,

    So, time in air = 3.9899/4.9

    =0.81 sec
