    so first you have to make a common denominator of 30 to see how many people in the class.

    3/10 • 3 = 9/30

    3/5 • 6 = 18/30

    then you have to add them together.

    18 + 9 = 27

    then you subtract 30 from 27.

    30 - 27 = 3

    so 3 students are wearing shirts other than blue or white
