    Well, f (x+1) is the term after f (x)

    this is a recursive formula thing

    we see that it alternates from negative to positive so we must have a negatives somewhere

    we see that each is 3/4 of the previous one, times a negative so

    f (x+1) = (-3/4) f (x) is da formula
