The graph shows the solutions to the equation y = - 4x + 8. If a second equation is, x = 3 write an ordered pair that would be a solution to the system.

    y=-4 (3) + 8

    Then do - 4 x 3=12

    y=-12+8

    If the negative number is higher then the positive number it will remain negative. Example it like you owe someone £12 and you gave them back £8. So you still owe them 4 pound.
