there are thirty houses on a street. twenty-four of them have pumpkins on their porch. What percent do NOT have pumpkins on there porch?

    if you divide 100 by 30 you get 3.33333

    then you times that by the number of houses that do have pumpkins and get 80%

    100-80 = 20

    (also there and 5 sets of 6 in 30 and 1/5 of a number is always 20%)
