Two sides of a triangle have sides that measures 10in and 12in. What could be the measure of the third side

    You have to use the Pathagoream theorem a^2+b^2=c^2

    10^2 + 12^2=c^2

    100+144 = c^2

    244=c^2 then you have to find the square root of 244

    c=15.62
