    If you divide the number line into 6 equivalent parts, and count 3 to the right. IT would be the same as cutting the line in half and going right 1 time.

    1/2 and 3/6 are the equivalent fractions because 3 is halve of 6 convert it then 1/2 is the same as 3/6
