Julio is paid 1.3 time his normal hourly rate for each hour he works over 32 hours in a week. Last week he worked 38 hours sand earned $513.42 find his hourly rate

    It is a very simple question to answer.

    Obviously first we can calculate the number of hours that he over timed. So 6 hours he worked over time. So an equation to set this up equals to 32*x + 6*1.3x = 513.42.

    The answer comes out to be 39.8x = 513.42. x = 12.9$ per hour.
