A city is building a fence around a rectangular playground. If the perimeter of the playground is 90 feet and the length of one side of the fence is 26 feet, what is the width of the playground? A. 45 feet B. 38 feet C. 19 feet D. 64 feet

    If the perimeter is 90 feet and on side is 26 feet then the width of the playground is 38 feet

    C because if the perimeter is 90 and one side is 26 then the side across from it is also 26. If you add those you get 52 so you subtract that from 90 and you get 38 which is the sum of the two left over sides which are the same length. If they're the same length then you just have to divide by 2.
