Sam wants to enlarge a triangle with sides 3, 6 and 6 inches. If the shortest side of the new triangle is 13 inches, how long will the other sides be?

    The other sides would be 16 and 16

    because the difference between the initial length and expanded length is 10

    the extension given was 3 and the shortest side is now 13

    so 10 + 6 would be 16

    The other sides will be 16 inches long, because 13-3=10, and 10+6=16
