In class 8K, there are 28 pupils. There are two more boys than girls. How many girls are in class 8M?

    let boys be y and girls be x so y = x+2

    x+x+2 = 28 (by the problem)

    2x + 2 = 28 so 2x = 28-2 so x = 13 so boys are y=x+2 = 15

    boys 15 girls 13
