Write an equation of the line that passes through (-3, 1) and is parallel to the line y=2x-3.

    It is parallel to the line y=2x-3, so first, we got

    y=2x+b

    and because it passes through (-3,1)

    we got b=7

    the equation is

    y=2x+7
