    we are given

    1 ton = 2000 pounds

    so,

    0.75 ton=2000*0.75 pounds

    0.75 ton=1500 pounds

    0.75 tons of dirt = cost 150

    so,

    1500 pounds of dirt = $150

    1 pound of dirt = $ (150/1500)

    1 pound dirt = cost $ 0.1 ... Answer
