    From least to greatest (number 1 being the least and number 5 being the greatest):

    1. - 8

    2. - 5

    3. 0

    4. 2

    5. 3

    Negative numbers are less than positive numbers because they come before zero. So the farther a number is from zero, the less value the number has. Positive numbers come after zero, so they are greater than negative numbers.
