    To FL and add

multiply first terms and multiply last terms and add and see if we get the middle term

    example

    (x+2) (2x-3) = 2x^2+x-6x

    2*2x+x*-3=4x-3x=x=middle term so

    a. (2x+5) (3x-1)

    2x*-1+5*3x=-2x+15x=13x, no we want - 13x

    b. (2x-5) (3x+1)

    2x*1+-5*3x=2x-15x=-13x correct

    answer is B
