You go to a restaurant with a friend. You purchase $8.25 for a meal and $2.20 for a drink. Your bill has sales tax of 6%, how much is your bill?

    8.25 + 2.20 = 10.45

    10.45 * 1.06 = 11.08

    or 10.45 *.06 =.627 then round to the hundredth position because it's talking about money and add back to the total of the bill.

    10.45 +.63 = 11.08
