    Answer: 1728 cm³

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Length of the tin sheet is 30 cm. Since 6 cm is cut off of EACH end, then the box will have a length of: 30 - 2 (6)

    = 30 - 12

    = 18

    Width of the tin sheet is 4² cm. Since 6 cm is cut off EACH end, then the box will have a width of: 4² - 2 (6)

    = 16 - 12

    = 4

    Height of the box is the amount being cut off each end, so height is 6 cm

    Volume = Length · width · height

    = 18cm · 4cm · 24cm

    = 1728 cm³
