    5 hours

    Step-by-step explanation:

    2 first hours cost 4.00 which equals 8.00

    Additional hours cost 1.50

    So we know he already has to pay 8.00 for the first 2 hours

    now you just subtract 8.00 from 12.50 which equals 4.50

    If one hour is 1.50 Then 2 hours is 3.00 so we subtract 3.00 from 4.50 which equals 1.50 and 1.50 equalss another hour

    y=4x+1.50
