    B is a quadratic function. It is not linear because again, the growth rate varies.

    C is not a linear function. This is because the y changes constantly but the x changes by 6, then 4.

    D is a linear function because the growth rate is the same.

    A is the only answer the rest of different inputs put the same outputs. a true linear equation would have different inputs with different outputs which is what the first equation had.
