If fx equals 3x that means f=3 and if gx equals 2x that means g=2. So if the problem is asking what g times f is, they realy mean 3 times 2.

    This would make your answer:

    6x

    We are given f (x) = 3x and g (x) = 2x

Now we have to find (g*f) (x).

    so (g*f) (x) means we multiply f (x) and g (x).

    So multiplying 3x and 2x,

    3x * 2x = 6x²

    So (g*f) (x) = 6x²
