In a toy store, The ratio of the number of dolls to the number of teddy bears is 7:6. If the store has 140 dolls, how many teddy bears are in the store?

    This is a proportion problem

    7/6 = 140/x

    Now cross multiply

    140 x 6 = 840

    7x = 840

    Divide both sides by 7

    Answer is 120 teddy bears
