    Area = length * width

    width = w

    length = 2w+7

    A = (2w+7) * w

    250 = 2w^2+7w

    0 = 2w^2 + 7w-250

    w is the width, hence length is 2w + 7 (7 more than twice the width)

    area = length * width = w (2w + 7) = 250

    2w² + 7w - 250 = 0 ← in standard form
