Marcel used a multiplication taboe to determine that 72:24 is equivalent to 6:18. What was Marcel's error?

    72:24 is NOT equal to 6:18

    In 72:24, the 1st number is greater than the other. In 6:18, the 2nd number is less than the 1st.

    His mistake is that he switched the numbers. It should be 18:6.
