    Well I don't know!

Let's slow down, relax, and work it out together.

The formula for the area of a trapezoid is

Area = (1/2) · (height) · (the sum of the bases)

    Fill in

    the numbers

    that we know: 100 sq ft = (1/2) · (height) · (25 ft)

    Divide each side

    by (25 ft) : (100 sq ft) / (25 ft) = (1/2) · (height)

    4 ft = (1/2) · (height)

Multiply each side by 2 : 8 ft = height

So what was the major difficulty?

Did you forget the (1/2) in the formula?
