Jose bought 1.5 pounds of apples for $3.60. How much would 3/4 of a pound of apples cost?

    3.6/3=1.2*2=2.4 which is what 1 lb is equal to than you multiple by 34=81.6

    3/4 * 3.60 = 2.7

    2.7 / 1.5 = 1.8

    answer: 3/4 of a pound of apples cost $1.80
