    The bottle 2 has a higher percentage of water

    Step-by-step explanation:

    We must analyze each of the bottles and calculate the percentage of water, and in this way we can know which has the highest percentage.

    Bottle 1.

    An 80-ounce bottle of apple juice contains 32 ounces of water

    Total amount = 80 ounces

    Amount of water = 32 ounces

    So percentage of water = 32/80 * 100 = 40%

    Bottle 2.

    A 64 ounce bottle of orange juice contains 48 ounces of water

    Total amount = 64 ounces

    Amount of water = 48 ounces

    So, percentage of water = 48/64 * 100 = 75%

    Which means that bottle 2 has a higher percentage of water.

    Answer: The 64 ounce bottle contains a greater percent of water.

    Step-by-step explanation: We have two bottles which are both measured in ounces. The first bottle has an 80-ounce capacity and is holding 32 ounces of water. Therefore the percentage of water in that bottle is derived as;

    Contents = (32/80) x 100

    Contents = (2/5) x 100

    Contents = 40

    Hence the first bottle contains 40% of water.

    The second bottle which has a 64-ounce capacity is holding 48 ounces of water so the percentage of its contents is calculated as;

    Contents = (48/64) x 100

    Contents = (3/4) x 100

    Contents = 75

    Hence the second bottle contains 75% of water.

    Therefore the second bottle (the 64-ounce bottle) contains a greater percentage of water.
