    Hello there!

The word inverse, would indicate to flip, invert, change from the opposite side. For example, the inverse of 'good', is 'bad'. But, in general, the term 'inverse' is not used in the everyday life. Practically, only in math.

So, therefore, the question would then be, what is the additive inverse of the number 15.

Just as looking on a graph, we see 15 on both sides, left and right. And they both have one thing in common, and also something that is not in common. They both say 15, but, one has a negative sign to indicate the inverse of one number from the other.

And as for the number on the right, it would just be a flat 15.

Therefore, the additive inverse of 15, would then be - 15.
