One cab company charges a flat rate of $5.60 plus $2.05 per mile. If a person took the cab to the store and the total was $36.35, how many miles did it take to drive to the store?

    I want to say it is 15

    What I did was subtract the 5.60 from the 36.35 and I got 30.75

    After that I divided 30.75 by 2.05 and got 15

    36.35-5.60=30.75 / 2.05=15
