    Well sometimes media could have a positive effect on wars and other times a negative effect. In this question it depends on which war you're referring too but in the Vietnam war the media effected the war negatively. The media was one of the main reasons the u. s lost, the media wasn't giving off support and it was reporting negative things instead of positive which changed peoples views on the war. It always gave off valuable information to the enemy in Vietnam like actually being in the war zone.
