How do you write the equation for the vertical line passing through (5, 8) ?

    X=5

    A vertical line means x=something. So in this case x=5. It will be one long vertical line that no matter what the y-value (in this case 8) the x-value will always be 5. If you want you can graph it to check if I'm right.
