    Orignal Equation : 5x + 16 = 56

    Step 1 - Subtract 16 from each side to get 5x alone.

    5x + 16 - 16 = 56 - 16

    5x = 40

    Step 2 - Get x alone

    5x/5 = 40/5

    x = 8
