Fernando makes 5% of his sales plus $250 each week. For each holiday, he is paid $35. This month there are four weeks and one holiday. If Fernando has $4,000 in sales each week, how much will he be paid for this month?

    Let's start with sales

    4,000 *.05 equals (200)

    Four weeks * 250 each week = (1,000)

    And one holiday = ($35)

    1,000+200+35 = $1,235 paid this month.
