it cost £1.20 to make each necklace.

she sold 75%of the necklaces for full price of £5.

she sold the rest for half price.

what was her profit?

    first work out how much she spent ... 60 x 1.20 = £72

    then 75% of 60 = 45

    45 x 5 = £225

    15 x 2.50 = £37.50

    £225 + £37.50 - £72 = £190.50

    her profit was £190.50
