How to solve measurement a pool that holds 320 cubic feet of water is 84 percent filled to capacity. another pool that hold 400 cubic feet of water is 82.5 percent filled to capacity. which pool contains more water? how much more?

    first pool

    320=0.84 times whole

    divide both sides by 0.84

    380.95=whole

    second is

    400=0.825 times whole

    divide both sides by 0.825

    484.848484=whole

    how much more

    484.848484-380.95=103.89

    2nd pool holds 103.89 ft³ more water
