Three children each had the same amount of money in their savings accounts. One of the children withdrew a quater of her money and spent it all on a $25 T-shirt. What was the total amount of money originally in the accounts?

    If this one child used a quarter of her money, and that quarter was $25, then you would have to multiply 25 by four, since there are four quarters in a whole. So 25 times 4 is 100, therefore, each child had $100 in their accounts.
