    Ok so the axis of symmery is the x value of the vertex

    remember vertex form

    f (x) = a (x-h) ^2+k

    h is the x value

    so we want

    xvalue=-2=h

    f (x) = a (x - (-2)) ^2+k

    or

    f (x) = a (x+2) ^2+k

    we see that the last one is the answer

    f (x) = (x+2) ^2-1
