Separate put the y on one side so that it would be 12y=3x+3, then divide the entire equation by 12 so you get y = (3/12) x + (3/12), and 3/12 is simplified to 1/4, so the equation would be y = (1/4) x+1/4 so the y intercept is 1/4 and the slope is 1/4.
