A rectangle has a perimeter of 88 ft. if the ratio of its length to width is 9:2, what is its actual length and width

    9+2=11

    11 units

    P=2 (L+W)

    88=2 (L+W)

    divide by 2 both sides

    44=L+W

    44=11 units

    divide by 11 both sides

    4=1unit

    9*4=36

    2*4=8

    legnth is 36ft

    width=8ft
