    To find the x intercept, sub in 0 for y and solve for x

    2x - 6y = 24

    2x - 6 (0) = 24

    2x = 24

    x = 24/2

    x = 12 ... so ur x int is (12,0)

    to find the y int, sub in 0 for x and solve for y

    2x - 6y = 24

    2 (0) - 6y = 24

    -6y = 24

    y = - 24/6

    y = - 4 ... and ur y int is (0,-4)
