Sarah starts at one corner of a square field and walks 60 feet along one side to another corner of the field. She turns 90° and walks 40 feet, and then walks straight back to where she started. What is the area of the part of the field she walked around? A. 100 ft² B. 240 ft² C. 1200 ft² D. 2400 ft²

    All you do is multiply 60 * 40 = 2400 ft squared. you find area of a square by multiplying base * length. SO the answer is "D"
