What is the slope of a line perpendicular to the line y=-2/3x+1

    Y = - 2/3x + 1 ... the slope here is - 2/3. A perpendicular line will have a negative reciprocal slope. All that means is " flip " the slope and change the sign. So the sign for a perpendicular line is 3/2 (see how I flipped the slope and changed the sign)
